The foundation of all my work is based on principles of inclusive practice and inclusive pedagogy. My aim is to develop effective and sustainable models of practice which support the inclusion of all learners. I was a member of the cross-university team which developed the National Framework for Inclusion commissioned by Scottish Government.
I am a specialist member of the First Tier Health and Education (Additional Support Needs) Tribunals Scotland. I was commissioned to write a chapter on Additional Support Needs in the book Scottish Education which is a core text used in teacher education across Scottish Universities.
